06/27-07/01

• Continued generating light curves for individual days of flare
• Started compiling VEGAS analysis into a document

• Finished adding 2020 light curves to document
• Running VEGAS analysis for 2020-2021 so I can generate light curves for this tomorrow

• Started reading Isabella's guide for the source and some linked sources
• REU lecture (left for campus at 2pm)

• Worked on preliminary document
  • Need to make sure that final results are excluding the large Zenith runs
• Looked briefly at code from Qi for fitting light curves and spectra

07/04-07/08

• Group meeting at 10am (went over presentation)
• REU Lunch talk at 12:30pm
• Grad school discussion with Prof. Karagiorgi at 2pm

• Looking more at code for fitting spectrum, trying to learn how to do this
• Same as above for light curve

• Put together slides for meeting
• REU Lecture + Lab tour (Leave for campus at 2pm)

• Meeting at 12pm
• Read over AGN theory slides (Frank Rieger)
• Ran analysis with log parabola spectral fit

07/11-07/15

• BNL Trip

• Made more progress with fitting light curve but running into issue with chi sq. value, so need to fix this
• REU Biophysics lecture + lab tour (Left for campus at 1pm)

• Starting AGN theory slides for Thursday (will also use part of this for Friday blazar group meeting)
• Next steps before final article/presentation (based on today's meeting):
  • Continue working on fit for 2/25 light curve
    • First constant
    • Then piecewise exponential
  • Figure out how to calculate size of source based on variability
  • Eventually plot Fermi data side by side
  • Plot light curve for 2020-2021 time period

• Finished fit for 2/25 light curve
• Group meeting at 1pm
• Finished presentation for blazar group meeting

• Prepped for meeting at 12pm
• Plotted 2020-2022 light curve -- looks off so will try different bin size, maybe plot in smaller time ranges first

07/18-07/22

• Reading articles for tomorrow's meeting

• Paper meeting at 1pm
• REU Lecture at 3pm

• Astrochemistry lab tour at 4pm

• Blazar group meeting at 2pm
• REU RARAF lecture + lab tour at 3pm
